20.03.2015 - Counting down to ...

Weather: Hot

Time flies, I am heading in 3rd trimester in another week time! My mini bump is getting bigger like a melon size now. Sleeping position is definitely one of my concern at night, finding the right position is NOT easy at all! Though everywhere, everyone advised pregnant woman to sleep at the left side which is the best mode. However, I will be ended up on flat mode whenever I wake up. Probably it is true that baby will call us up - time to change position mummy! :D

His movement is tremendously strong, from morning to late night. I am practicing to have him to follow my sleeping mode, which is 11pm daily after the lullaby session. Yes, I have been playing lullaby for him since week 18. Daddy guin purposely bought a wireless Sonos system to place in our room just for mummy and baby guin :) Hopefully the music does plays a part to make him feel calm by remembering the music even after he is born. Thus far I would say this mini baby guin has strong power and energy by kicking, turning, punching, twiggling me at all times! The feeling getting stronger day by day and I do enjoy his movement although sometimes can make me jump out of sudden by his karate/somersault practice! lol~! More to come especially he is growing bigger now! My little karate kid! :-*

Show casting a few of my latest bump pictures. Hello all~!

20.01.15 - His First Kick!

Weather: Sunny

Always hear about how powerful and amazing a baby kick or movement. I will never understand how does it feel until I encounter it, yes? Absolutely right! The feeling could never be explained at all.

16.01 - It was an amazing night while daddy guin was trying to hear baby guin heartbeat, as usual. It just came too quick that both of us felt something is 'lingering' in my uterus! It lasted for just a few second and he stopped! Daddy guin felt like something is 'brushing' his face, lol! That was his 1st movement and so coincidence both of us felt him at the same time! I guess he did it on purpose, to say his first HI to daddy and mummy! ^_^

The next day, I was waiting for him but nothing comes by. Guess he was playing hide and seek, or remains secretive to me.

18.01 - Today, I understand the meaning of 'butterflies' in the tummy. Yes, that's his movement! Ha, the feeling was more like gas bubbles traveling in your uterus instead of butterflies. I guess different people has varies of description? Overall, the feeling was too good to describe!

19.01 - He started to move more frequent to show his existence :D Morning a few taps from him to kick start my Monday! His movement gets stronger during the late afternoon while mummy guin was cooking in the kitchen. He might be protesting for food as he can smells and hears well now! He literally moved non-stop for almost half an hour, throughout mummy guin busy cooking in the kitchen! Mummy guin told daddy guin about baby guin 'activities' and he couldn't wait at night to feel him again! Alala, even after mummy guin milky time, nothing from him yet! We guessed he must be dozed off since day time has been so active -_-'

Well, I believe I will hear from him again more often! Baby guin! :D

16.01.2015 - In preparation

Weather: Sunny

Lots of preparation after we have received the great gift from God. Well, before heading in the 'honeymoon' period, I have gone through the reality, where I had really bad morning sickness throughout the whole 1st trimester. Nothing else I could describe the feeling apart of - TORTURE and SUFFER! I had nausea since discovered I was pregnant, as early as week 4! The nausea came first followed by vomiting everyday - yes, everyday throughout whole day & night. I wasn't feel please at all during that few weeks to be honest.

I still remember it was a mixture feeling. Happy yet frustrating. I have to comfort myself everyday by praying to god to make me feel better, at least (well, obviously it didn't really work  >_<). Each time of my gynae checkup, whenever Doctor Gordon asked me - how are you feeling Michell? He can literally spotted my answer on my face. Well, what I heard from him in each visit was: Great! Good sign! It shows baby is growing well and healthy! Aha, at least, that's the only thing could make me feel better huh? Nonetheless, I have to thank you hubby for his understanding, support and encouragement. Poor him, apart from eat double (as I couldn't eat), he has to rush home every evening just to make sure I am not starving (yes, my vomiting more serious when I gets hungry).

Gynae:
I was recommended by 1 of my taitai's group, Vanessa to this gynae - Doctor Gordon Lim from Gleneagles Hospital. After a few visits with him, both hubby and me feel comfortable and confident on him. He is kind of a serious look person, rarely see him smile to be honest. However, he still does sometimes whenever we asked silly questions or when he is trying to make me feel better :D

Started my journal with this freebies baby journal from magazine (can't recall which magazine)

Received this as a gift from my besties, Chris (just a month before I found out I was pregnant!) :D

Daddy bought this to kick start as supplement in Month 4!

Mummy advised me to brew chicken soup with this to boost up my energy and strengthen body

Signed up with PEM agency and requested for Auntie Ivy, who was highly recommended by my mate, Mr Wu!
