Today after knock off, we really run out of idea where shall we go for dinner, it's FRIDAY night!! Dear dear out of sudden suggest go to China Town! Yeah, been sometime we never go there loo~~
Reached China Town, while hunting for food suddenly remind us of 长城 Porridge! Anyone try the porridge there before? As usual, so crowded and lucky we manage to 'grab' 2 seats and dear dear order 1 pot of dry chilli (宫保) Tian Ji (type of frog - 田鸡), 1 bowl of fish porridge, 1 beancurd and 1 plain rice too. Dear dear eat the plain rice mix with the 'gong bao' gravy, yum yum~~ my face was so red and I was sweating all the way! The weather was too humid & hot, plus eating the hot porridge... oh my~~
After dinner we shop shop in China town before head for our dessert! Saw few shop houses selling Chinese Wedding Traditional costume and accessories. Very nice & unique~ This will be our shopping place next year to purchase our wedding stuffs ^-^
Tired of walking, feel hungry again :-P Where shall we go to? Of course the dessert shop! We went to 味香园 dessert shop and it was so crowded as well! Gosh... wherever have cheap & delicious food, always the hunting place for tourists and local people. Found a seat and after selecting what we gonna have, when order! Ahhh!! The dessert I want 花生糊 (peanut paste) sold out! *sob sob* All the paste sold out except Ginko Barley and Mango Pudding : ( No choice, I have to choose Ginko Barley due to my cough still haven't recover yet -_-' while dear dear enjoy his favorite Mango Pudding. *envy* On top of this, I add on Carrot Cake as well, yum yum@_@
Enjoyed our dessert until 9.30pm and we left China Town head back home... yeah, TGIF!
Currenlty after 7pm the lantern decoration in Chinatown will light up and it is really very nice!
